Gift Ov Kaddo, the former singer of GoodLyfe, has set strict requirements for any music promoter who wants to organize a concert for him. He demands that the event take place at Namboole Stadium and that he be paid at least UGX 200 million.
The musician, who is well-known for his hit song “Traffic Man Officer,” stated that the following sums of money should be prepared as follows: Shs60 million for Hotel Africana; Shs100 million for Cricket Oval; Shs150 million for Hamz Grounds; and a staggering Shs200 million for Namboole Stadium. Kaddo is very clear that he will not accept small payments for his performance.
According to the artist, these sums represent the worth of his brand, which is “too big to be paid peanuts.” Gift Ov Kaddo is an aspirational and self-assured artist who believes he is deserving of greatness and is confident in his abilities.
He clarifies that he will use any money received to make investments in his future. His schemes include establishing a cutting-edge recording studio to bolster his reputation in the entertainment industry, musically taking back the limelight, and, of course, enhancing his standard of living. As long as someone covers the cost, he’s willing to throw caution to the wind.
“Any promoter who is willing to organize a concert for me, my prices go as follows: Hotel Africana Shs60M, Cricket Oval Shs100m, Ham Stadium Shs150M, and Namboole will go for Shs200m.” Gift of kaddo said.
