Earlier today, Firebase singer Mayega Tadeo, known by his stage name Zex Bilangilangi, found himself facing a precarious situation as he was granted cash bail by the court, narrowly avoiding a stint in Luzira prison. The trouble began recently when Zex Bilangilangi engaged in a heated altercation at a local bar with his rival, Bishop. The dispute escalated, resulting in Zex’s apprehension and subsequent confinement at a local police station.
With his legal representatives working diligently, a bail application was swiftly submitted as he awaited his court appearance at Nakawa. Fortunately, the court approved the application, granting Zex temporary freedom. However, this newfound freedom came at a price.
Zex Bilangilangi was required to pay a cash bail of Ugx 500,000. Additionally, the court imposed the condition of providing sureties, each responsible for a non-cash amount of 3 million Ugandan Shillings. Despite securing bail, Zex Bilangilangi’s legal journey is far from over.
He is scheduled to reappear in court on November 15th. Until then, he must comply with the court’s conditions and fully cooperate with the ongoing legal proceedings. The singer’s recent clash with Bishop has sparked a legal saga, and only time will tell how this story unfolds. Stay tuned for updates on this developing situation.
