Troubling times have befallen Fik Gaza, the celebrated Gaza Empire singer, also known as Shafiq Dangote, as his girlfriend Sultan has levied accusations of theft and violence against him. Sultan recounts their relationship, which blossomed over eight months since they met at a party through a mutual friend.
Initially, everything seemed idyllic, with Sultan generously supporting Fik Gaza’s musical endeavors both financially and as his manager. However, the situation soured as Fik Gaza started exhibiting disrespectful behavior and violence towards Sultan, inviting unwanted guests into her home, and mistreating her.
Faced with this deteriorating situation, Sultan made the tough decision to relocate to Luwafu, leaving Fik Gaza in Buziga. Tragically, her ordeal was compounded by the loss of a pregnancy at three months. Adding insult to injury, Fik Gaza began pressuring Sultan for rent money, a demand she was not willing to meet.
Matters worsened when he abruptly vanished, taking Sultan’s belongings valued at approximately Ugx 50M, leaving her feeling betrayed and abandoned. Sultan’s priority now is reclaiming her stolen possessions, a quest she’s pursuing by reporting the theft and violence to the Katwe Police Station, providing them with comprehensive details of the incident.
In light of these distressing events, Sultan has unequivocally stated her intention to sever ties with Fik Gaza. Her sole focus is on reclaiming her belongings and embarking on a fresh start, leaving behind the pain and turmoil of her past relationship.
