Tugume Wycliff alias Ykee Benda, has distanced himself from singer Dre Cali real name Katende Andrew’s legal dispute with former management WYSE Limited company.
The court however in 2019 summoned Katende Andrew alias Dre23 for breach of contract with WYSE Limited Company.
Firstly, in an interview with a local radio station, Ykee Benda stated that Mpaka Records has nothing to do with the legal situation. It’s on Katende Andrew’s label, not Dre Cali’s Mpaka Records.
“We as Mpaka Records, our lawyer said we have nothing to do with the court issue and we know nothing about his former management. Our artist is Dre Cali and the artist who was summoned in Dre23,” Ykee Benda said.
However, Katende Andrew has his own lawyer, according to Ykee Benda, and he believes everything will go smoothly in court.
