Veteran singer Gerard Muwonge, known as Clever J, left Pastor Wilson Bugembe’s church elated as he was rewarded with a generous sum of Ugx 2.7M. Over the weekend, Clever J and events promoter Bajjo Clear Process took a break from their busy schedules and visited Pastor Bugembe’s church in Nansana.
During the church service, Clever J shared the blessings he received from God since he embraced him as his savior. He spoke about his wife leaving him, taking one of their children, and leaving him with Jeremiah, his current companion.
Clever J mentioned that life became unsafe after he lost his musical career, and he had to rely on bricklaying for income. Pastor Bugembe was moved by Clever J’s tragic story and promised him Ugx 1 million.
The congregation also generously contributed to improve the well-being of the “Manzi Wa Nani” crooner, resulting in a total of Ugx 2.7M. After the solicitation, Pastor Bugembe prayed for Clever J, invoking blessings from God upon him before his upcoming concert at Lugogo.
Clever J expressed his gratitude, leaving the church in a jubilant mood, knowing that his faith and visit to Pastor Wilson Bugembe’s church had brought him both financial and spiritual support.
