In the hot seat today is Alien Skin, the renowned singer from Fangone Forest Entertainment. He’s found himself embroiled in a controversy that’s making headlines this week. The issue at hand? Assaulting individuals who dared to advertise his shows without his consent.
The story begins with a Mukono-based promoter, Lugendo Fred, who eagerly booked him for a performance at the Nkokonjeru playground. Everything seemed to be running smoothly until Bombardier Sports Bar decided to throw their hat into the ring, promoting an after-party event with Alien Skin on the same night.
Needless to say, Lugendo Fred wasn’t pleased. He had invested a significant sum to secure his talents. In an attempt to clear the air, he reached out to the singer, seeking answers. Alien Skin, however, denied any affiliation with Bombardier Sports Bar and confirmed that he had committed solely to the Nkokonjeru gig.
Fast forward to the event at Nkokonjeru playground, where Alien Skin dazzled the audience with his performance. However, after the show, things took an unexpected turn. Alien Skin, accompanied by his entourage, stormed into Bombardier Sports Bar, demanding an explanation for their unauthorized use of his name.
What followed was nothing short of chaos. Violence erupted as Alien and his associates clashed with the bar’s bouncer, DJ, manager, and even innocent patrons. Their aggression culminated in the confiscation of the DJ’s mixer and hard drive.
One of the unfortunate victims, Kaweesa Bruno, decided to take legal action, filing an assault case against Alien Skin at Ngogwe Police station, obtaining reference SD ref: 26/31/08/23.
