Former Fangone Forest member Jajja Bamu finds himself in the throes of adversity after a harrowing encounter with a group he suspects to be associated with the camp of Alien Skin. Once an ally of Alien Skin, Bamu’s departure from Fangone Forest marked the beginning of his vocal criticism of the controversial figure while aligning himself with rival musician Fik Gaza. However, his dissenting voice seems to have ignited a dangerous feud.
Yesterday, while traversing the streets of Kisenyi-Kampala on his motorcycle, Bamu fell victim to a vicious ambush. Men on two motorcycles swooped in, overwhelming him in a brutal attack aimed at both his person and property. The assault left Jajja Bamu with grievous injuries—bruised jaws, swollen eyes, and impaired vision—casting a shadow of fear over his already tumultuous relationship with Alien Skin.
In a candid statement, Bamu lamented the betrayal he feels at the hands of those he once called allies. Despite years of loyalty and harboring secrets for Alien Skin, his loyalty was met with violence and treachery. Moreover, this incident sheds light on a pattern of aggression allegedly linked to Alien Skin, as he has been implicated in altercations with numerous celebrities and industry figures, including the late Jajja Ichuli, as well as prominent promoters and fellow musicians.
However, amidst the turmoil, Bamu remains steadfast in his resolve for justice. Rather than seeking retribution, he places his trust in a higher power, believing that divine intervention will ensure accountability for those responsible.
