In an unexpected turn of events, the father of the late Mowzey Radio has declared his reluctance to attend the annual memorial service dedicated to his deceased son. The memorial, a heartfelt gathering of fans, family, and relatives, takes place on February 1st each year at the singer’s resting place in Kagga Nakawuka.
The roots of this family discord trace back to the disagreements that erupted following Mowzey Radio’s demise. The contentious issue centered around the location of the singer’s final resting place. The father ardently desired that his son be laid to rest in their ancestral burial grounds in Fort Portal. However, Mowzey Radio’s mother was unwavering in her insistence on Nakawuka as the chosen site.
Returning to work after six years of mourning, the father of Mowzey Radio, now detached from the emotional turmoil, revealed an unsettling truth: he has many children, some of whose whereabouts remain unknown to him. Though, this revelation adds an extra layer of complexity to the already-strained family dynamics.
Expressing his disinterest in participating in the memorial service, the father, a devout born-again Christian, voiced his disbelief in the practice of praying for the deceased. He went on to declare that he couldn’t even set foot on Radio’s burial ground until he resolves his lingering misunderstandings with his ex-wife, Kasuubo Jane – Mowzey Radio’s mother.
