Juliana Kanyomozi, a Ugandan singer, is mourning the untimely death of her brother, Edward Freeman Kim. The cause of death is unknown, but the family has released a statement expressing their profound grief.
“With deep sorrow, the family of the Late Prince Gerald Manyindo announces the untimely death of their Son, brother, Husband and father Prince EDWARD FREEMAN KIM which occurred this morning 1/11/2023. Burial arrangements are underway and will be communicated as soon as possible. There will be a vigil today at his home in Kawanda,“ the statement read.
Juliana Kanyomozi herself has not spoken publicly about her brother Edward Kim Freeman’s death, but she has posted a black and white photo of herself on social media, along with a caption that reads, “My heart is crushed.” Fellow celebrities have been conveying their condolences to Juliana on social media.
“My deepest condolences to Juliana Kanyomozi and her family on the loss of her brother, Edward Freeman Kim. May his soul rest in peace,“ tweeted Ugandan singer Bebe Cool.
“Juliana, I’m so sorry for the loss of your brother. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time,“ wrote Ugandan actress Jackie Chandiru on Instagram.
Juliana Kanyomozi is a popular singer in Uganda and across Africa. She is known for her hits such as “Kibaluma,” “Nabikoowa,” “Nkyanonya” and “Woman.” She has won numerous awards, including the MTV Africa Music Award for Best Female Artist in 2013.
