Driven by grief and a burning desire for revenge, Boudica (Boudica: Queen Of War) vows to reclaim her homeland from the Romans. She rallies her people and leads them in a ferocious rebellion. Boudica’s army is outnumbered and outgunned, but they fight with courage and determination.
Boudica and her army defeat several Roman legions and sack the Roman cities of Londinium, Camulodunum, and Verulamium. For a brief moment, it seems as if the Britons are on the verge of driving the Romans out of Britain.
However, the Romans eventually regroup and defeat Boudica’s army in a decisive battle. Boudica is killed and her rebellion is crushed. But her legacy lives on as a symbol of courage and resistance.
