Upcoming singer Kid Dee, also known by his real name Matovu Denish Duncan, recently voiced his disappointment with fellow singer Alien Skin. According to Kid Dee, he had known Alien Skin through another singer named Fyno and had even included him in his entourage.
Kid Dee praised Fyno’s immense contribution to Alien Skin’s musical journey, particularly mentioning how Fyno had penned the breakthrough song “Emboozi Y’enkola,” which played a pivotal role in propelling Alien Skin to stardom.
However, as Alien Skin’s fame grew, his attitude took an unfortunate turn. He began to sideline the very people who had laid the foundation for his music career, including Fyno. Kid Dee disclosed that he had been receiving reports of Alien Skin’s disrespectful treatment towards Fyno whenever the latter visited Alien Skin’s Fangone Forest Entertainment camp in Makindye.
One incident that particularly stood out was when Alien Skin allegedly instructed his men to lock Fyno outside the camp’s gate. Kid Dee found this behavior unacceptable, considering how Fyno had been instrumental in Alien Skin’s success.
In expressing his sentiments, Dee clarified that he harbors no ill will towards Alien Skin. Nevertheless, he strongly believes that Alien Skin should reconsider his actions and change his character.
It’s unfortunate to witness the fallout between artists who once shared a close bond and worked together to achieve their dreams. The music industry thrives on collaboration and mutual support, and incidents like these serve as a reminder that fame and success should not lead to arrogance or disregard for those who have contributed to one’s rise.
