Jamaican reggae band, Morgan Heritage, has recently released the music video for their latest track, ‘Ready,’ featuring Ugandan musician, Jose Chameleone, Ghanaian artist, Shatta Wale, and Tanzanian DJ, Rj The DJ.
During the launch party for their new album, ‘The Homeland,’ held on April 18th, 2023, at Cielo Lounge in Kololo, Uganda, Morgan Heritage revealed that the album would feature two of Uganda’s top artists; Jose Chameleone and Eddy Kenzo. Chameleone lends his vocals to ‘Ready,’ while Kenzo features on two tracks, ‘Long To Be Home’ and ‘U Got To See The World.’
In ‘Ready,’ Chameleone sets the pace with his vibrant Jamaican Patois, which pumps up the energy of the song before Morgan Heritage jumps in with their own unique style. The music video, directed by Jordan Hoechlin and Mojo Morgan, features a carnival-themed setup that is sure to captivate the viewer.
