Zari Hassan The Boss Lady won Entrepreneur of the Year and Sophisticated Woman of the Year awards at the ASEAs in 2021.
The African Social Entertainment Awards (ASEA), established in 2018, honor Africans’ lifestyle and social entertainment.
The South African-based awards seek to recognize the ever-expanding social media industry while also providing a factual presentation of African lifestyle to other continents.
On Wednesday, December 15, 2021, the winners of the 2021 edition of the awards were announced on social media.
Zari Hassan, a Ugandan socialite, influencer, and entrepreneur based in South Africa, took home two awards on the night however.
Firstly, Zari won the ‘Sophisticated Woman of the Year,’ competing against Thembi, Dilish Mathews, Ms Shally, and Hillary Makaya.
In addition, the mother of five also won the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ award, beating out competition from Pong Pong, Otunba Doggy, and Tamara The Great, among others.
Zari accepted the awards and expressed gratitude for naming her the best in both categories on social media.
