Rafael York, Rwanda’s new kid on the block, was gutted as the Amavubi were defeated at home and away by the Uganda Cranes, and he described football as unfair at times.
The Athletic Football Club Eskilstuna midfielder changed his nationality from Sweden to Rwanda and played in both defeats to Uganda.
“Disappointed about the two losses, but football it’s not always fair. Now its time to rise and take the first 3points. Until next time @FERWAFA,” York posted on his Twitter.
Rafael York, a highly rated left footer, has previously played for Sweden’s national underage sides (U-17 and U-19), appearing in 17 games.
He was born in Sweden to a Rwandese father and an Angolan mother.
