Messe Bontwe, a former Amarula Family comedian and media personality born Mpiire Nicolas, has urged various local artists and his long-term friend Amooti Omubalanguzi to stop abusing drugs.
Messe Bontwe openly advised Amooti to stop using toxic substances because they cause him to lose his intelligence.
He also mentioned how, in the long run, over-chewing the aforementioned substances harms the teeth.
He named several other artists who use toxic substances and asked them to find ways to break the dangerous habit.
Messe Bontwe mentioned King Saha, Grenade Official, Feffe Bussi, Red Banton, Fik Fameica, and Weasel, warning them that substance abuse could jeopardize their careers.
Messe Bontwe dismissed the notion that using drugs can instantly turn up-and-coming artists into stars. That, he claims, is not correct.
